KrAZ at "Autostrada Polska 2008"

From 14th to 16th of May Holding company "AvtoKrAZ" and his partner "Autokraz Polska" - its exclusive representative on the territory of Poland - represented its products at the 14th International fair of equipment and technology in the road construction "Autostrada Polska 2008" (Kielce, Poland).

For the recent few years the exhibition has gained the scope and today is reputed one of the biggest exhibitions of road construction in Europe. Considering that for the first year of its existence "Autostrada Polska" has gathered about 250 companies that demonstrated their products on the 2700 sq. m. of the display space, now the scale of the exhibition has considerably grown. In 2008 more than 800 companies from 26 countries of the world exhibiting on the 38000 sq. m. of the exhibition area the equipment and materials for construction of roads, bridges, tunnels, overpasses, as well as other objects of road infrastructure.

Holding company "AvtoKrAZ" jointly with "AutoKrAZ Polska" and " Drogobych plant of automobile cranes" presented the fair visitors with the automobile crane KTA-25 on chassis KrAZ-63221 (6?6) of 25 tons payload with three-section boom of 10-21.5 m lifting height and of 2.4-18.4 boom reach.

The exposition of HC "AvtoKrAZ" and its partners has aroused a heightened interest of the fair visitors, first of all as KrAZ vehicles are well-known in Poland and enjoy authority as "unpretentious hard workers that easily conquer bad conditions of roads". In addition there is a real construction automotive equipment boom on the Polish market now caused by investment plans of construction of about 3 thousand kilometers of highways, 6 stadiums and a large quantity of hotels timed to Euro 2012.

Up to year 1992 KrAZ vehicles have been regularly supplied to Poland. Since 1960 about 8000 vehicles have been delivered to Poland. After the USSR collapse relations and trade channels acquired through the course of years have been lost.

After 15 years KrAZ vehicles of new generation are coming back to the market of Poland. For the last year about three dozens of KrAZ vehicles have been supplied here. The major part of them is involved in work on the South of Poland, where the mining industries are concentrated.

According to Darush Monkos, trade representative of "Autokraz Polska", "New KrAZ vehicles are bought as a rule by those who have already had an experience of KrAZ vehicles operation and know that the Ukrainian truck can cope with its tasks in difficult operating conditions in the best way and that they are unpretentious and reliable and stable to difficult climatic conditions.

Many representatives of construction and mining enterprises interested in purchase of KrAZ vehicles have visited the company stand. Most of them have already had KrAZ vehicles in their vehicle fleets are satisfied with their operation.

The exhibited crane right away from the exhibition has been sold out to the construction company from Boleslavets city. The exhibition resulted in the considerable growth of the stock of orders for KrAZ vehicles.

During their visit to Poland the representatives of Holding company "AvtoKrAZ" have attended a few places of KrAZ vehicles operation, namely, they have visited open pits on crushed stone output of the company "KRUSZGEO" in Polish settlement Shcheguchitse where a batch of new KrAZ-65032 vehicles operates. KrAZ vehicles are engaged in carrying of rock to the sorting mechanism, the arm being about 1.5 km. Old KrAZ vehicles work in the pit as well.

The old master of the pit Shcheguchitse-1 Mr. Tadeush Elen says, "During 10 years we have been using only KrAZ vehicles in technological process. Various trucks were applied before: Tatra, Mercedes. Then they stopped and we started employing only KrAZ vehicles, as they were the most suitable for our conditions. Now the trucks are working from 6:00 to 22:00. We have difficult conditions here, the trucks make about 30 trips per day. We are satisfied with the work of KrAZ vehicles".

Plans for the nearest future of Holding company "AvtoKrAZ" cover the establishment of the trade-and-exhibit area, as well as opening of the company service center in Poland.
