"AvtoKrAZ" sold a record number of vehicles in july

In July 2008 HC "AvtoKrAZ" marketed 457 KrAZ vehicles and assembly sets (knocked down vehicles for delivery to assembly plants) - a record number for the current year. Thus, the company increased its sales index as compared with the same period of the last year by 26%.

Totally, 2289 KrAZ vehicles were shipped since beginning of this year (the growth rate in relation to the last year index is 101.5%).

In the gross volume of the sold vehicles the share of the dump trucks was 49%, the share of platform trucks - 12.4%, chassis - 25.9%, fifth-wheel tractors - 9.2%, timber and log trucks - 2.1%, motor-truck concrete mixers - 1.4%.

During the 7-month period of 2008 HC "AvtoKrAZ" sold at the domestic market half as much KrAZ vehicles - up to 829 - as last year. Stable growth of sales volumes in Ukraine was promoted not only by the KrAZ trucks price/quality competitive advantages, but also by the Company's proposition of financial schemes of trucks credit and leasing sales profitable for consumers, by the flexible system of payment and trucks deliveries, optimization of dealers network, expansion of the company service centers network, trade and exhibition centers.

Export share in the total volume of the products marketed by the Company amounted to 64%, particularly, the company increased supplies of KrAZ trucks to Turkmenistan, Abkhasia, Azerbaidzhan, Lithuania, Armenia, Poland, Mongolia, Cuba and other countries.

During the 7-month period of 2008 the Company sold spare parts for KrAZ trucks to the amount of 46.8 mln. hrn (the growth rate in comparison to the corresponding period of the last year is 150%).
