Stakhanov Dumpcar is the best national product of Ukraine

On the 20th of August 2008 rewarding of the winners of All-Ukrainian contest-exhibition "The best national product 2008" took place in the National exhibition complex "Expocenter of Ukraine". According to the results of this contest the mainline dumpcar of 31-945 model manufactured by Stakhanov Car-building Works got the highest mark of the expert commission in the nomination "Production and modernization of vehicles, equipment and spare parts".

Stakhanov Car-building Works was awarded with diploma and medal "The best domestic product 2008".

Such a success of Stakhanov car makers is not accidental - for the first time the works took part in the All-Ukrainian contest-exhibition in 2006. Then the enterprise received the status of "The best domestic products manufacturer 2006". Such products of the enterprise as hatch open-top wagon of 12-9046 model, hopper of 19-923 model for transportation of mineral fertilizers and dumpcar of 33-9035 model with the load capacity of 105 tons were awarded with diplomas of the contest commission and three medals "The best domestic product of the year" in the same nomination "Production and modernization of vehicles and equipment".

Today JSC "Stakhanov Car-building Works", which forms a part of HC "AvtoKrAZ" is one of the largest and most dynamically developing enterprise of this branch. The works specializes in producing over 10 types of railroad freight cars including platforms, dumpcars, hoppers for transportation of mineral fertilizers, open-top wagons, unique rail transporters of different modifications etc.

In 1993 the enterprise started mass production of dumpcars model 31-945 with the payload of 66 tons intended for transportation and mechanized unloading of bulk and lump cargo. During the 15-year period more than 700 dumpcars duly certified by the Federal railroad transport certification register appeared on the railroads.

Nowadays Stakhanov Car-building Works produces three dumpcar models - mainline dumpcar with the load capacity of 66 tons, as well as pit dumpcars with the load capacities of 105 and 150 tons. According to the quality and operating characteristics these dumpcars are the leaders among analogous products of their main competitors - producers of specialized railway cargo vehicles. The productive capacity of the works allows producing up to 40 dumpcars per month.

The main customers of the dumpcars manufactured by Stakhanov Car-building Works are the largest transport companies, pits, mining and processing enterprises of Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan.

At present moment the productive capacity of SCW enables to supply over 6000 different freight cars and up to 50 thousand tons of metal constructions for the purposes of industrial and civil construction.

The quality management system is certified as to its correspondence to the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 international standard.
