KrAZ vehicle is among the best rescue equipment

At the VII International Exhibition Forum «Protection Technology-2008» that took place in Kiev early October Holding Company “AvtoKrAZ” has introduced the tank truck АC-40 on chassis KrAZ-5233НЕ – a special-purpose vehicle intended to eliminate emergencies.

HC “AvtoKrAZ” exposition has aroused a heightened interest of the numerous exhibition visitors among which was the Minister for emergencies and population protection from the Chernobyl disaster consequences Mr. Vladimir Shandra.

Mr. V. Shandra has taken a close look at the capabilities of the presented vehicle. He has pointed out high technical characteristics of KrAZ special-purpose vehicles and their more efficient fire-extinguishing capacity if compared to other trade marks that are adopted by the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Also he has remarked that the special-purpose equipment of the Kremenchug auto makers for the Ministry of Emergency Situations will be included in the state order.

Within forum framework the 5th competition for the best product in the field of civil protection of the population and territories from anthropogenic and natural emergencies took place.

Within the framework of the competition Holding Company has presented a few vehicles, among them was the vehicle KrAZ-5233BE-019 «Miner» that was created jointly with « Scientific Production Corp. “Energosoyuz» and is intended for the transportation of the special-purpose equipment and technique to the place of explosive substances detection, mine clearing provision and further transportation of the explosive substances to the place of their destruction. This vehicle has become a prize-winner in the nomination «Rescue technique and equipment» and has been awarded with a diploma of the competition winner.
