Visit of “Scania” representatives to Poltava Auto Aggregate plant

On February 8, 2009, Poltava Auto Aggregate plant, a part of “AvtoKrAZ” Holding Company, was visited by the delegation of Ukrainian and Polish representative offices of “Scania”, world known manufacturer of heavy duty trucks and buses.

In the course of the visits has been discussed the set of questions concerning further development of cooperation between Poltava Auto Aggregate plant and “Scania”.

The visitors familiarized themselves with specificity, capacity, and future development of the plant, visited test-room, assembly, tool and foundry shops, as well as finished store of the plant.

The visitors observed that Poltava Auto Aggregate plant is considered by “Scania” as potential component supplier for production of trucks.

Subsequent of the results of the visit Poltava Auto Aggregate plant will be put into database of alternative suppliers for “Scania”. Subsequent visits of “Scania” experts have been projected, which will result in auditing of Poltava Auto Aggregate plant to grant a status of component supplier for “Scania”.
