Another container ship launched at “Zaliv shipyard”.

Launching of the container ship with cargo carrying capacity of 7800 tons and gross load of 2058 tons took place in late March at the “Zaliv” shipbuilding yard, partner of “AvtoKrAZ” Holding Company. This is the second vessel built by order of Bodewes Shipyards (Holland). The ship’s keel was laid in November last year. “Zaliv” and business customer plan to sign delivery and acceptance certificate in mid-April, thereafter the ship will be towed to Netherlands.

Quality and timely contract performance by “Zaliv” shipbuilding yard has given a grounding to confirm both sides’ intents to continue cooperation.

In the meantime first sections for a multipurpose platform supply vessel have been laid in the dry dock at “Zaliv” shipbuilding yard. This ship is the second order by the Ulstein Company (Norway).

The first vessel of this type was built and successfully launched the day of holiday ceremony on occasion of septuagenarian anniversary of “Zaliv”. By the early April the ship had been around 39% complete, 6 sections were mounted into the vessel hull, gross load of the sections is 610 t.

All deadlines under this order are strictly met.

Orders received for the moment provided the shipbuilding yard with work till the autumn, 2010. Currently “Zaliv” carries out works on 11 contracts.
