Landowners need the heavy-duty KrAZ vehicles

Holding Company “AvtoKrAZ” has traditionally presented its vehicles at the “AGRO-2009” International Exhibition Fair held from June, 11 till June, 14. This year, agro-forum was held on two exhibition areas simultaneously: in the historic village Chubinskoe and in the territory of the National Exhibition Hall “Expocentre of Ukraine”. The exhibition was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine, and Ukrainian Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

In Chubinskoe, the expositions were placed outdoor so that the participants and the visitors could get closer to the conditions of the Ukrainian village as much as possible. “AvtoKrAZ” demonstrated the “Agro-2009” visitors three trucks included to the list of the agricultural production liable to 30% compensation at the expense of the state budget funds:

- KrAZ-6230C4 (6x4) dump truck with carrying capacity of 18 tons equipped with 20 cub.m platform and intended for agricultural cargoes transportation with a specific weight of 0,5-0,9 t/cub.m;

- KrAZ-65055-083-02 (6x4) dump truck with carrying capacity of 20 tons, platform capacity of 16 cub.m with anti-lock brake system;

- KrAZ-6443-062-02 tractor with dump semi-trailer “Dnestr-95323” with capacity of 30 cubic meters.

Exhibition fair was opened by the Speaker of Verkhovna Rada Vladimir Litvin, the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian policy of Ukraine Yuriy Luzan, and the Honorary President of State Corporation “Ukragroleasing” Vasiliy Shpak. After the official opening the guests have seen over the agricultural vehicles manufactured by the Ukrainian and CIS plants and presented in the Exhibition Complex “Chubinskoe”. KrAZ trucks were presented to the Speaker by the people’s deputy and “Ukragroleasing” Honorable President Vasiliy Shpak pointing out that nowadays the agricultural sector of Ukraine is in great need of such heavy-duty vehicles as KrAZ trucks are. KrAZ trucks can be involved in various agricultural activities. Lack of such vehicles in the agricultural sector of Ukraine leads to crop loss. He drew attention of high-ranking officials to the necessity to solve two integral parts amid the financial crisis such as: the replacement of the agricultural enterprises’ vehicle fleet for a new one, on the one hand, and the support of the domestic KrAZ trucks manufacturer, on the other hand.

The Speaker of the Parliament could not help but got into the Ukrainian heavy-duty truck. He has not only got acquainted with KrAz vehicles technical capabilities but also had answers being of interest to him, the possibility to install a conditioner, a berth etc. into the KrAZ truck, in particular. Special attention of the exposition visitors was drawn to KrAZ-Caravan combining tractor KrAZ-64431 with 30-ton dump semitrailer “Dnestr-96323”. Successful combination of capacious semitrailer and heavy-duty tractor were noted by all visitors.

The activity of landowners concerning KrAZ vehicles in the current year was stimulated by the inclusion of these trucks in the Supplement to the Minutes No. 26 of April, 8, “The list and boundary prices for vehicles purchased by NAC “Ukragroleasing” out of state budget funds for their further financial leasing in 2009”. This governmental decision has opened up manifold possibilities for agricultural sector to re-equip agricultural enterprises with new vehicles.
