Odessa chooses KrAZ-Krazy

Holding Company “AvtoKrAZ” took part in the 2nd stage of the Ukrainian Tuning and Autosound Championship that was held in Odessa on 25th -26th of July. Krazy-Crocodile - the champion of the previous tuning competitions in Kharkov, Zaporozhe and Cherkassy – this time won the “sea pearl”– the hero city Odessa. On Friday evening participants from different parts of Ukraine and Russia started to gather at the Morskoy Vokzal (harbour station) – the competition site. All in all about 200 vehicles came to compete in sound, tuning, aerography, slalom etc.

The spectators chose Krazy-Crocodile as their favourite. Among numerous motor cars it was well-noticeable for its power and attracted visitors with its glamorous design. Chromized exterior decoration of the show-truck dazzled the attendants by the shine of the reflected sun rays. The queue of those who were eager to take a photo near Krazy was almost not thinning out from morning till evening. Crowds of people behind the barrier elbowed their way closer in the hope that they would take a few photos of the extravagant truck.

For two days the origin of this automobile masterpiece was the subject of arguments. The most of the present proved that Krazy is an American or a German rather than a Ukrainian questioning abilities of the domestic craftsmen. Only after a thorough inspection when they saw the unmistakable logo of KrAZ trade mark – the crest and inscription KrAZ on the truck bonnet, they agreed that after all KrAZ is the child of the Kremenchug Automobile Plant. Krazy – the favourite of the public – was justly recognized by inhabitants of Odessa as the best tuning vehicle and following the results of the competition was awarded the cup and a valuable gift. Holding Company “AvtoKrAZ” was presented a Diploma “For creative tuning of the domestic vehicle”.
