KrAZ vehicles are employed in Egypt

In the middle of August of the current year AvtoKrAZ shipped the first batch of KrAZ vehicles to the Armament Command of the Arab Republic of Egypt Ministry of Defense. Twelve units of fifth-wheel truck tractor KrAZ-644317 were shipped under the foreign economic contract between Holding Company and the Ministry of Defense of ARE.

The Armament Command of ARE MO delegated its representatives to HC “AvtoKrAZ” to inspect the dispatched trucks. To be trained in terms of operation, maintenance and repair of vehicles the officers of the ARE MO Mr. Ashraf Mahmoud Saad Shaarawy and Mr. Mahmed Abdalla Mohamed Aly arrived to the plant. Inspectors completed training at the automobile plant training center.

The Egyptians expressed their gratitude for the high level of training. They observed that the technique of the company training center meets the most modern standards.

Delivery of the next batch of vehicles according to the present contract will be carried out in the third quarter of 2009.

In different years, starting from 1961, the Kremenchug Automobile Plant has supplied about 3.3 thousand KrAZ vehicles to Egypt.
