Truck tractor KrAZ T17 EX Burlak – winner of “MAF-2009”

From 15th to 18th of September Moscow hosted the International Motor Transport Forum-2009. This is the biggest event in the automobile world that finds its roots in 2005 and is organized with the assistance of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and a number of other competent Russian and international organizations. For 5-year period the automobile forum has acquired a reputation of a leading communication area, where enterprises and organizations of the machine-building industry can demonstrate their achievements and attractive development projects, as well as discuss the most important issues of the field.

Leading auto makers have become the participants of “MAF-2009”, namely Volvo, DAF, Renault and MAZ. Holding company “AvtoKrAZ” together with the official dealer “RusKrAZ” presented its trucks at the international autoforum: popular among the customers KrAZ-65055 dump truck and the new product of 2009 – fifth-wheel truck tractor KrAZ T17 EX Burlak.

The production of Kremenchug auto makers aroused interest of the exhibition visitors: representatives of construction companies, transport organizations, machine-building enterprises. Among the guests of Holding company exposition were president of the Association of International Automobile Carriers (ACMAP) Mr. E. Moskvichiov (the first from the left), general director of MAF Mr. G. Nikitin (the third one), executive director of the Association of Auto Makers of Russia Mr. I. Korovkin (the fifth one) and representative of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. The guests expressed their gratitude to the company to the effect that in global crisis environment that paralyzed the branch it continues to work under new products and finds the possibility to present it to the Russian customer.

Apart from the automobile equipment the exhibition also presented technique for freight service and passenger transportation, special-purpose automotive equipment for different branches of economy, navigation systems, service equipment, parts and components etc.

Within the framework of the international autoforum results of the annual contest “PROdvizhenie. The best bus of the year. The best truck of the year” were summarized. Fifth-wheel truck KrAZ T17 EX Burlak was awarded a diploma as the new product of 2009.
