AvtoKrAZ gradually restores its positions

In the second half of 2009 Holding company “AvtoKrAZ” has started to execute the contracts concluded at the beginning of the year. Against the background of the dramatic decline in production at the first half-year determined by financial and economic crisis, gradual production rehabilitation has been evidenced from August of the current year.

In October 2009 85 vehicles were assembled at the main assembly line of the Kremenchug automobile plant, the estimated amount of the produced spare parts is 1.64 mln hrn. Basically, all-wheel drive special-purpose trucks were assembled.

275 vehicles have been assembled since the beginning of the year. The estimated amount of the production shipped to the consumers is 190 mln hrn, including spare parts – almost 18 mln hrn. From the total amount of the shipped products the Ukrainian consumers obtained 40%, the rest was exported.

Presently Holding company continues to further develop new KrAZ vehicles and carries out their laboratory tests. Two vehicles – fifth-wheel truck tractor KrAZ T17.0 and chassis KrAZ H30.0 EX are subjected to certification testing at Dmitrov demonstration-testing area NAMI (the Russian Federation). Intensive work is also dedicated to reduction in production expenditure, improvement of quality of the output and production efficiency.
