Public utilities require KrAZ special-purpose equipment

From 10th to 13th November the International Exhibition Center in Kiev hosted VII International special-purpose exhibition “Communtech-2009” organized by the Ministry for Municipal Housing Economy Issues under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Cities and Communities association.

It is customary that the main participants of the exhibition have become the enterprises manufacturing special-purpose vehicles for the branch.

Holding company “AvtoKrAZ” among 120 participants of the exhibition presented its following special-purpose equipment:

- KrAZ-5233H2 vehicle intended for patching repair and equipped with special-purpose equipment MDKZ-6/11-10 manufactured by Budshliachmash, Kiev;

- Chassis KrAZ-65053 of 25 tons payload with autocrane KC-55712 manufactured by Strela, Brovary.

Among other numerous exhibition guests AvtoKrAZ exposition was visited by Deputy Minister for Municipal Economy Issues of Ukraine Mr. O. Lototskiy and vice-president of the Ukrainian Cities Association Mr. M.Pittsyk.

KrAZ special-purpose equipment aroused an increased interest of the professional audience, namely representatives of the geological exploration and oil-and-gas branches, chiefs of public utilities of different regions of Ukraine, design engineers of various enterprises manufacturing special-purpose superstructures. In particular, chief design engineer of Kommash Mr. I . Konishevskiy offered to consider production of suction machines and refuse trucks based on KrAZ chassis. He distinguished it as a reliable and a strong one that allows mounting of various special-purpose equipment widely used in urban work cycle.

Within the framework of the exhibition HC “AvtoKRAZ” presented a portable pump unit UNP-160x40 based on chassis KrAZ-63221 intended for charging of different liquid fluids to oil and gas wells at cementation during drilling and overhaul repair, as well as while carrying out other preflush and overflush operations, and truck tractor KrAZ-6140 TE that was awarded a diploma as the best domestic technological vehicle for oil-and-gas branch.
