KrAZ logging equipment is required by forestry of Ukraine

Within the framework of the regular regional board that took place on 27th of November by Chernigov regional administration of forest and hunting sector based on Chernigov forestry, KrAZ-6233M6 log carrier equipped with manipulator OMTL 70-01 manufactured by Velmash-Ukraine (Kharkov) demonstrated its operation. This special-purpose truck can transport 16.5 tons of logs, whereas as a part of the road-train with trailer A181M2 weight of the transported cargo makes 29 tons. High technical parameters of the vehicle and its rated usage efficiency aroused an increased interest among the regional forestry management heads present at the event.

Currently the forestry of Chernigov region are insufficiently equipped with new efficient equipment. The major part of the automobile park of this forestry is obsolete and outdated and should be renewed.

Forestry authorities remarked that new equipment will enhance output capacity by minimizing expenses. They expressed their hope for the state assistance in terms of reequipping of the old automobile park with new domestic logging equipment.

Following the results of the board meeting and equipment demonstration a number of contracts for supply of log carriers KrAZ-6233M6 to forestry of Chernigov region have been concluded.
