KrAZ – a traditional choice of Turkmenistan

The market of Turkmenistan remains to be a traditional one for Holding company “AvtoKrAZ”. KrAZ vehicles have deserved love and respect of the Turkmen drivers as far back as since supplies of vehicles according to clearing transactions as payment for gas. Financial and economic crisis has not changed the Turkmen consumers’ attitude towards our trucks; and in 2009 the sales volume in this region remains stable.

The first half of the current year was marked by supply of 17 pieces of pipe trucks TV1-20 on chassis KrAZ-6322.

The second half-year period Holding company dedicated to execution of the order on manufacture of 60 dump trucks KrAZ-65032-0000043 under the tender that has been won this year. Dump trucks KrAZ-65032 have 14 tons payload and are equipped with wide-section tires of 1350x550-533 dimension – these are excellent characteristics for operation in difficult desert conditions. Vehicles will be used at motor and rail roads construction.

The Turkmen market is not only receptive, but also rather demanding to the goods received. Starting from September all KrAZ vehicles shipped to this region are equipped with GPS system in order to optimize logistics system, use the transport park more efficiently, prevent from unauthorized usage of vehicles, control fuel etc.

Since the start of the year about 100 pieces of KrAZ equipment have been shipped to Turkmenistan and the stock of orders for 2010 has been made as well.
