“KrAZ-2010” traditional Motor Show

On 27th of June 2010, the traditional sixth edition of the Motor Show “KrAZ-2010” was held as part of festive events dedicated to celebration of Youth Day. Holding Company “AvtoKrAZ” showed 22 models to the residents and visitors of Kremenchug, among them exhibits from the automobile plant museum, production vehicles and novelties.

The newly designed trucks exhibited were:

a specialized heavy-duty rescue truck mounted on the KrAZ-63221 made to order of the Ministry for Emergency Situations. All-wheel drive cross-country truck is fitted with up-to-date equipment that enables emergency response operations, namely stand-alone stationary electric power plant, portable generator, hydraulic power unit, set of hydraulic equipment, self-contained water pump, welding equipment, mine and diving gear, acid resistant clothing, 8-seat motor boat, Hiab crane-manipulator;

a mobile canteen unit mounted on the KrAZ65053 – fruit of collaboration between AvtoKrAZ and “Neftehimavtomatika”;

- the KrAZ-65053 chassis fitted with Multilift hook loader designed for accelerated loading/unloading of removable chip boxes. The truck was created jointly with ‘Velmash-Ukraina” company, one of the leading companies in the market of hoist machinery.

Newspapermen of automobile magazines of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus came by tradition to celebrate together with KrAZ. Many events took place as part of celebration of Automobile plant day and the Motor Show “KrAZ-2010”, including awarding of the best plant workers who made a great contribution to the company development and achieved highest results with corporate awards, such as Medal of Service, valuable gifts and certificates of merit. Pressmen also had test-drive of the new KrAZ C20.0 dump truck in mining and concentrating company, Komsomolsk, and attended a presentation of the new book “KrAZ dump trucks”.
