Production volume development for 10 months compared with the same period in 2007 amounts to 101%, though sales goal were not achieved in 2008. Production output decrease had taken place in November and December. As a consequence slowdown in the rates of production compared with 2007 makes up 13%. Thus, new technologies area of plant press room has been equipped with another modern machine – “Amada” LC 1212b IV NT laser cutting machine (Japan). Earlier the machines from this world-famous Japanese manufacturer had been already installed in the pant workshops. “Amada” laser cutting and bending machines proved to provide high quality of metal machining. 20.11.2008 “AvtoKrAZ” reduced overall production The financial and economic crisis has had a negative effect on the operation of “AvtoKrAZ” Holding Company. Though, volume production development for the 9 months period of 2008, as compared to the same period of last year, has reached 107%, and for the 10 months period – 101%, in November it will probably decrease. 13.11.2008 “AvtoKrAZ” – National Academy of Sciences: towards mutually beneficial cooperation “AvtoKrAZ” has established cooperation with the E.O. Paton Electric Welding Institute of the National Academy of Sciences. As Russia is the most mass importer of the Ukrainian vehicles, at the end of October the production was examined with respect to KrAZ conformance to standards acting in the Russian Federation. The Kremenchug automobile plant was inspected by the experts of the world-known Central Research-and-Development Automobile and Auto-Motor Institute (NAMI, Moscow) and Reasearch-and-Development Center for Equipment Testing and Development (NIZIAMT, Dmitrov).
