5233BE “Spetsnaz”
The KrAZ-5233BE “Spetsnaz” off-road vehicle and its modifications are intended for prompt transportation of personnel of military units, special forces and UNO piece-keeping forces, as well as various equipment, artillery systems of up to 152 mm caliber, communication and radioelectronic warfare systems under extreme natural, climatic and road conditions of all continents. Configuration - 4x4, engine (YaMZ, Cummins, Deutz) up to 370 h.p., an inter-axle differential on rear axle, a centralized tyre inflation system, a winch with tractive force up to 12 t.
The vehicle can be successfully operated within temperature range of -50 to +60°C at an altitude of up to 5000 m above sea level, it can overcome water obstacles up to 1,5 m and snow cover up to 0,6 m.
