Today, on occasion of professional day, “AutoKrAZ” prepared a unique congratulation for rescuers of Poltava region: the company has fulfilled its obligations to build a special rescue vehicle ahead of schedule. Keys of the KrAZ-5233ВЕ explosive ordnance disposal vehicle have been handed over to special operations rescue team of Ukrainian SSES Headquarters in Poltava region during formal meeting dedicated to the Day of Rescuer. The special vehicle has been transferred to rescuers by Chairman of Poltava Region Public Administration Mr.Golovko.

The explosive ordnance disposal vehicle is used for carrying special equipment and gear for mine clearance and transportation of unexploded ordinances with total weight of up to 2200 kg to disposal site. The vehicle is designed for 24/7 use in moderate and cold climate regardless of season on roads with various surfaces and off road.

Explosive ordnance disposal equipment is based on the KrAZ-5233ВЕ 4х4 off road platform vehicle. The special vehicle is provided with four-door seven-seat cab, heating and ventilation system, fire-fighting equipment, transmission means and navigation system, electrical system, winch and other gear necessary for rescue operations.

General Director of “AutoKrAZ” Roman Chernyak present at this special event delivered a congratulatory speech. He said that rescuer’s job is one of the most responsible and dangerous all over the world. For that reason, KrAZ does its best to provide special units of SSES with advanced well equipped vehicles to make it easy for them to do disaster response. He wished good health to special unit rescuers and said that sports activities such as football will help them in it. As a bonus, Roman Chernyak presented football of Poltava Football Club “Vorskla” signed by all the club players.   The museum of the unit got a picture with KrAZ vehicle as a present on occasion of the holiday.
