“AutoKrAZ” Undergoes First Compliance Audit of Quality Management System

“AutoKrAZ” has underwent the first compliance audit of the quality management system during the validity of certificate ISO/TS16949:2009 Quality Management Systems. Particular requirements for the application of ISO 9001:2008 for automotive production and relevant service part organizations. The audit has been conducted by international auditors of DEKRA certification company (Germany).

During the audit the documents of all the levels have been thoroughly checked. Functioning of quality management system in production departments, effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions, improvements that occurred during the period after the last audit have been inspected, too. The auditors pointed to significant improvement in functioning of quality management system, better understanding of ISO/TS 16949:2009 requirements and gave recommendations on further implementation of the system at exit meeting.

Today efforts are taken at the automobile plant to improve quality management system in compliance with requirements of IATF 16949:2016 that will replace ISO/TS 16949: 2009 in 2018. Increased scope of requirements to quality management system in new standard put a spin on the system development, thus improving the quality of products and enhanced reputation of “AutoKrAZ” among partners and customers.

It should be recalled that the first IATF certificate №0251318 was issued to “AutoKrAZ” in November of 2016, enabling it to join the world automotive community. It confirms conformity of the quality management system to ISO/TS 16949:2009 requirements. ISO/TS 16949: 2009 technical specification is aimed at the development of a quality management system that provides for continual improvement, emphasizing defect prevention and the reduction of variation and waste in the automotive industry supply chain.
